Meet Blake. He was born at BC Women’s Hospital at 4:04am this morning, via emergency c-section, weighing just 5 lbs 6 oz.  Dad made it with only minutes to spare, after his long drive from their home town of Quesnel, BC.

At only a few hours old, this little guy is getting prepped for his first surgery.  He was born with a condition called Gastroschisis, he has a little opening in his abdominal which left some of his organs exposed.  Blake’s mommy & daddy will be staying at the Easter Seals House while he gets stronger.

Please send love and support to this family, they are in for a long journey…but in the words of the NICU nurses on his team, this little man is a fighter.  We are all routing for you sweetheart!
