This sweet little man was brought into the world in the early morning hours yesterday.  I can’t describe this birth in words, but feelings flow through me as I write.  Love, admiration, pride, excitement, strength and determination.  The reason Chelsea and I met is clear, it was so this day could happen exactly how it did.  Meeting her changed the course of my life, and brought me here to this place- to this work.  Being there for her at this moment was the completion of a perfect circle.  Watching her go within and draw on every ounce of power she had to bring her son into the world was magical.  Being present as Douglas met his son for the first time left me speechless.  There was love in every second of this journey.  Thank you Chelsea and Douglas for inviting me into this private moment,  I love you three so much and I can’t wait to watch you grow into this new role as parents to your beautiful creation.  xx
