From My Heart:

I am a mother, a sister, a daughter, an artist.  I am a story teller of love & life.  I believe in the power of positive thought with all of my being.  I expose my heart and soul to those I meet and in turn I form a deep connection with the people I photograph- I capture truth in my subjects, and produce work that makes you feel deep in your belly.  Documenting love between people is an incredible privilege, it is what I do best and to me, it is one of the most important jobs in the world.  With each moment I capture, I gain a better understanding of life and the everyday miracles that exist on this earth.

Four years ago I was inspired by an incredible woman, Chelsea Brooke Roisum, to do what I love and love what I do.  My life has changed in so many beautiful ways because of meeting her and now I can say I am exactly where I am meant to be and loving every minute of it.

Her incredibly beautiful and heart-stopping photos are one thing – but it is how she works with people that sets her apart from other photographers. Kristie is her own package deal –she infuses her passion for photography and capturing life’s most special moments with skill, grace, enthusiasm, and professionalism. She is able to put people at ease with her relaxed, but tenacious eye-for-beauty approach. My husband and I don’t generally like to be in front of the camera, but Kristie makes working with her genuinely fun and making the photo shoot a memorable time. Not only that, she seems to effortlessly exceed expectations. We had a tough time locating the site of our event and Kristie swooped in and literally saved the day so our event could go on as planned: she was on the phone with multiple people, looking up addresses on her GPS, and offering her vehicle to make sure we all made it in time. And throughout it all she was calm and optimistic: just what you need during life’s stressful times! I am so grateful to Kristie and the memories she has captured for me and my family. I repeatedly regret not hiring her for birth photography and doula work and cannot wait to make up for this oversight with my next birth.
